Arihant Jewelers Robbery : The Mundhwa police have released sketches of two people involved in a robbery at Arihant Jewelers on BT Kawade Road. The robbery took place on December 8 at about 9:30 p.m., and the shop owner was injured and also valuable items were stolen.
The victim, Walchand Achaldas Oswal (77), was alone in his shop, counting money when two men entered. They lowered the shop’s shutter a little so no one would see. One of the men pointed a gun at Oswal and sprayed something on his face to make him weak.
One robber was stealing gold Jewelry. Walachand Oswal treid to stop him, but the second robber to pull out an iron rod. The robber hit Oswal on his left shoulder, told him to stay quiet, and kept stealing. The robbers ran away with 35 grams of gold jewelry worth ₹2.45 lakh.
Investigation Update : Arihant Jewelers Robbery
It has been nine days since the crime, but the police have not caught the suspects yet. The police used the victim’s description and CCTV footage to make sketches of the suspects. Now sketches are created and have shared them with the public.
The police have asked people to share any information about the suspects and report it to the nearest police station. The investigation is still underway, and police are following up on any leads.
