Delhi Elections 2025 : TMC Supports AAP, Congress Faces Challenges : In the upcoming 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, Mamata Banerjee, leader of Trinamool Congress (TMC), has shown support for Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). This comes as Congress faces struggles in Haryana and Maharashtra, and Delhi seems to have a tough election ahead.
Mamata Banerjee’s TMC announced their support for AAP in the Delhi elections. After the announcement, Kejriwal thanked Mamata Banerjee for her help.

TMC leader Derek O’Brien also showed support by saying, “We are with you.”

India Alliance Breaking Apart?
In Haryana, Congress refused to team up with the Samajwadi Party. Now, it looks like the India alliance is breaking. Both Congress and AAP have decided to fight the elections on their own.
TMC, which is part of the India alliance, has chosen to support AAP. Mamata Banerjee had recently shared her concerns about the alliance’s leadership. This makes TMC’s decision very important.
