Swadhar Yojana: Maharashtra Government Extends Application Deadline to December 31
Pune, Swadhar Yojana : The Maharashtra government has extended the application deadline for the Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Swadhar Yojana to December 31, 2024.
This scheme helps students from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Neo-Buddhist communities. The students who are continuing their post-matric studies but were unable to get admission in government hostels.
Swadhar Yojana :
The Swadhar Yojana provides important support to eligible students. It includes meals, accommodation, study materials, and a living allowance. The original deadline for online applications was December 16, 2024.
However, students faced some technical issues while filling the form. Also there are many requests from the student organizations and regional authorities for extending the deadline. So the government has decided to extend the deadline for applications.
Students who applied for hostel admission but didn’t get a spot, will have their applications automatically moved to the Swadhar Yojana. So they don’t need to reapply the application.
After many students had trouble submitting their applications. The government extended the deadline to December 31, 2024. This gives eligible students more time to apply for the scheme and get the help they need.
