ICC Champions Trophy 2025: India to play Pakistan on Feb 23 in Dubai; check group-wise full schedule
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the official schedule for the Champions Trophy 2025 on Tuesday. India vs Pakistan match is always one of the most exciting game. Cricket world already know the rivalry between India vs Pakistan. Champions Trophy 2025 has given a great news to all cricket lovers. In the Champions Trophy 2025, India vs Pakistan, will take place on Sunday, February 23, in Dubai. India and Pakistan are a part of group A, which also includes Bangladesh and New Zealand. India will first play Bangladesh on February 20, followed by New Zealand on March 2, both in Dubai.
The defending champions and hosts, Pakistan, will begin the tournament on February 19, playing against New Zealand in Karachi. Pakistan’s final group match will be against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on February 27.
The semi-finals are set for March 4 (March 5 a reserve day) and March 5 (March 6 a reserve day). The final will be held on March 9, with a reserve day available.
The first semi-final will take place in the UAE, while the final will be in Lahore. However, if India makes it to the final, the match could be moved to the UAE.
Group B includes Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa. Matches for both groups (excluding India’s) will be played in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.
The decision to host India’s matches in the UAE was made after a meeting. The meeting happened between Mohsin Naqvi and Sheikh Nahyan Al Mubarak in Pakistan. Mohsin Naqvi, is a Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Sheikh Nahyan Al Mubarak is a senior UAE minister and head of Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) .
