During a performance of Purush, veteran actor Sharad Ponkshe forgot his lines. Actress Shruti Agashe shared this moment in a video. While the play was in progress, Sharad Ponkshe suddenly blanked out and couldn’t remember his dialogue. After realizing this, he asked the audience for some time to collect himself. However, soon after, it was announced that the show was canceled.

According to Shruti Agashe, after forgetting his lines, Sharad Ponkshe asked the audience, “Dear audience, I have blanked out. I can’t remember anything. Could you please give me a moment?” The audience, showing great understanding, applauded his request without hesitation. After a brief pause, the decision was made to cancel the show.

Emotional Moment for Sharad Ponkshe
After the incident, Sharad Ponkshe returned to the stage and spoke to the audience. He was very emotional during this moment and even began to cry. He shared that in his 40 years of acting, this was the first time something like this had happened. The audience, however, did not complain and instead, wished the entire team the best for future performances.
During this moment, Sharad Ponkshe’s son, Sneh Ponkshe, was also by his side, showing support.
However on the same day, after taking some rest Actor Sharad Ponkshe delivered a spectacular performance of the same play in Hadapsar.
