Pune : The murder of Massajog Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh has caused a lot of political arguments. Some people are saying that the investigation is being controlled, and they want Minister Dhananjay Munde to resign. Lawmakers from both the ruling and opposition parties are demanding this. After staying quiet for two weeks, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar spoke about the issue on Thursday, January 9, in Pune.
Ajit Pawar Breaks Silence on Dhananjay Munde’s Resignation : Santosh Deshmukh Murder Case
Pawar said, “In any investigation, people may make accusations. The SIT, CID, and other investigations are already happening. The Chief Minister has said that anyone found guilty will be punished. I have also told Devendra Fadnavis this.”
Pawar said that no one, no matter their position, will be protected from the investigation. “If any senior officials or anyone else is guilty, they will face strict action. We will check all the details, like calls and messages. The government is taking this very seriously,” he added.
He also said that the investigation must be fair. “Everyone has the right to express their opinions, but it should not cause harm to anyone.”
Pawar also responded to BJP leader Suresh Dhas, asking him to provide evidence instead of just making claims. “I told Dhas to give evidence to the investigating agencies. I also spoke to Chandrashekhar Bawankule to make sure everything is fair and clear,” he said.
Pawar assured everyone that the investigation will be thorough. “We are very concerned about this. As part of the government, it is our duty to make sure no one is protected. We want a fair investigation,” he said.
